Dear fellow traveler,

Scott and Jeanne Mills founded Great Trips Unlimited in 1998 to help travelers, novice or experienced, rent an apartment, cottage, house or  castle for their vacation instead of staying in an impersonal hotel room or B&B.  For American travelers, in particular, this was a novel concept at the time.  Vacation rentals allow travelers to get to know a community, its people and its places.  We are pleased that many people now choose this exciting option and we are delighted to have been part of that change.

We are a family-owned business located in Portland, Oregon, USA.  Scott and Jeanne are the directors of the company. Jeanne works closely with owners and writes the text on the web site.  Scott takes the photos for the site and designs the entire site. Daughter Amber is a booking agent.  Amber's partner, Josh, is our IT guru.  Cheryl, our other booking agent, has been with us since 2003 and we are Delighted!  Cheryl's daughter, Megan, is our office assistant.  Mary Lou, also with us since 2003, is our financial genius.  We are happy to have found such a good team.   All of us are here to serve you as you make your vacation plans.  We provide a level of personal  service and expertise that you won't find at "warehouse" rentals companies.

The San Miguel de Allende properties include fine Colonial homes, casual or formal, all perfectly suited for a relaxed and comfortable vacation in a beautiful and hospitable town.  Our Irish and British properties include city apartments, thatched cottages, grand manor houses and magnificent castles.

We have visited all of the properties on our web site.  The words and photo are ours. We know the owners well; manyof them have become our good friends.

This web site is a sampler of the many properties we represent.  If you don't see exactly what you want here, let us know and we'll find something that is perfect for you.
